Free Up Your Desk With A TFT Monitor

Tuesday July 13, 2010

If you still have one of those old style monitors which takes up much of the space on your computer desk, you will appreciate getting a brand new TFT computer monitor instead.

One of the biggest benefits of these – aside from the improved quality of the picture – is that it gives you a lot more room on your desk. It doesn’t matter what size computer desk you have, you will notice the difference as soon as you unpack your new TFT monitor and put it in its place.

With a small desk the difference is particularly noticeable. If your computer desk is quite shallow you may not be able to position the monitor right in front of you where it should be. Instead it may have to be situated off to the side, so you can sit slightly further away from it. This is not ideal as you will constantly be looking off to the side instead of having it directly in front of you.

With a slimline TFT monitor you don’t get this problem. If you have ever wondered whether you should buy a newer and larger computer desk it could just be that you have the wrong monitor.

The other advantage of getting one is that you can have more monitor in less space. Because you don’t have the back of the monitor to worry about, you can look forward to using a larger screen without sacrificing any desk space in the process. Can you imagine what a difference this will make to your viewing capabilities on the screen? If you play computer games or watch TV programmes on your computer you will wonder why you didn’t switch to having a brand new TFT monitor in the first place. They give far superior quality images and they let you have your desk space back as well.

You will also see that you have more room for your keyboard on your desk. If you have your keyboard too close to you it means you have to bend your wrists in an unnatural way to use them properly. When you have more room you can move the keyboard back closer to the screen, allowing you to type properly, see the screen and keep your hands in the proper position.

Doesn’t that sound like a good range of benefits to have as a result of getting a slimline monitor?
